In the bustling streets of Stockholm, a startup named Loopa, is transforming the way garbage collection is managed. Our team at Beeplist had the pleasure of partnering with Loopa.se to develop a comprehensive digital solution tailored to enhance their innovative garbage collection subscription service.
Loopa.se offers a unique model where customers can subscribe to have garbage collected directly from their homes. Subscribers receive specially designed bags and can schedule pickups through an easy-to-use online platform, a system that required a seamless and robust technological backbone.
Our collaboration involved constructing Loopa.se’s website from the ground up using Laravel, a powerful PHP framework known for its ability to handle complex applications efficiently. To facilitate smooth and secure transactions, we integrated Stripe, ensuring a hassle-free payment experience for users.
The core of our development efforts centered around a sophisticated booking system designed to manage schedules and availability seamlessly. Additionally, we set up comprehensive mail configurations to keep subscribers informed and engaged.
The front end of the website was developed using React, allowing us to create a responsive and intuitive user interface. On the backend, along with Laravel, we employed MySQL to manage the extensive customer data securely. Our team also crafted a detailed admin panel that enabled Loopa’s administrators to efficiently manage customer information and service requests.
Through these integrations and developments, Loopa now efficiently supports local recycling and waste management efforts, specifically targeting “källsortering” and “grovsopor” — key aspects of Sweden’s environmental initiatives.
